Miss Frances Hladin And Corporal Stenberg Wed in Simple Rites

Miss Frances Hladin of Muskegon, daughter of Frank Hladin, Milwaukee, became the bride of Corp. Carl Stenberg, son of Mrs. Helen Weiber, Holton, at a simple ceremony at the Lakeside Baptist church, Saturday, Nov. 22, 2 p. m. Rev. Victor Larson read the service and the wedding march was played by Miss Irene Gibson.

The bride wore a floor length gown of bridal satin with a sweetheart neckline, leg-o-mutton sleeves, coming to a point over the hand, with a full skirt terminating in a long train. Her finger tip veil was held in place with orange blossoms and she carried a bouquet of white chrysanthemums.

Miss Ardis Stenberg, sister of the bridgegroom, was maid of honor and Miss Jane Stenberg, bridesmaid, with Louise Agnes Strandberg as flower girl. Sgt. O’Donnell O’Brien was best man and Sgt. George Borgeson, usher.

Out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. George Borgeson and Sgt. O’Brien of Alexandria, La., and Mrs. Ellen Hamblin of Seattle, Wash.

Corp. Stenberg will leave for Camp Livingston Thursday.
